We all are capable of achieving something. Some people of course would say that’s easily said that done. But have we tried it? We wouldn’t know how great we could be unless we try something we are talented at. Achievements start from beginning to do something we are good at. We become skillful with it, thus mastery would equip us immensely. Our knowledge and skills will bring us somewhere. Talent is the soul of work.
Unfortunately, the things we can do becomes limited because of fear. Fear of failure. The feeling of fear is so powerful that it paralyzes us. It paralyzes us emotionally, physically and even spiritually. Why do we doubt ourselves so much? We are intelligent beings and we can learn so many thing and love what we do. At times, we just become miserable because we compare ourselves with other people. We are all blessed. More blessed that you can imagine. It is just how we see, discover and make use of them. We are capable of magnificent things.
I have been through so much in life that I learned to look pass limitations and use them as opportunities. Let’s not imagine great things. But really, let’s start with small things. For in tiny steps, we are able do to bigger things in life. I know you feel. You feel like you’re floating with your eyes closed in an abyss. Hanging by a thread waiting for someone to hold your hand and pull you up. Open your eyes. Look for shadows. Shadows cast from a light source. In a spiritual light, “it was believed that shadows are in fact a representation of God’s presence around an object (Exodus 33:19-23).” As discussed from my previous article, “Brilliance,” we are made from image of goodness. You have this unimaginable radiant light inside you. Darkness is felt one way or the other… sometimes. You are not alone.
I came across numerous articles and blogs about Dr. Carl Jung‘s interpretation of on acknowledging the dark side. It said that “by acknowledging this dark side, we can effectively communicate with both halves of ourselves.” It was even represented by a “raven symbolism to show the shadow self, or the dark side of the psyche. ” According to them, Dr. Jung gave that “this offers liberating balance, and facilitates tremendous wisdom.
And so it is clear now that we are humans who can achieve when we want to. We learn and gain wisdom from our experiences. As a great person said, “We are spiritual beings living human experience.” We can transcend beyond what we can do. Cast out our fears and let it not overwhelm us. We have walked on this earth too long. Living its confusing and overwhelming life. Our wings crumpled and dusty. Never been used and already forgotten. We have allowed the dark human experiences take over our brilliant spirits.
We have wings that would us bring us to where we want to. Find yours! It is there! Spread it and see how magnificent it is. The grandeur of the wings that would take you anywhere. Feel them. Use them. Spread your wings get ready to take flight.
